This session will explore ways to support primary aged students in developing their skills as learners. Focusing upon five categories of interrelated skills (communication, thinking, research, self-management and social),
participants will consider how teachers can support students to become self-regulated learners who know how to ask good questions, set effective goals and pursue their aspirations with the determination to achieve them.
Examples of split-screen teaching will be shared and participants will consider the skills they themselves use as learners during this interactive session.
